Interconnected
For as long as remember I have been exploring patterns and relationships of how we are interconnected, from the tiniest of bacteria to the cosmos and beyond. I wonder what happens to these connections when we die, how do we stay connected beyond death, energy connected. Where does it go when our bodies are gone? How to we reconnect and form new pathways and connections. In many of my art works the image of the tree shows up over and over again. To me the tree is an archetypal symbol. To me it represents many different interconnected possiblies, from the networks of the world, the branches of the river, the pathways of my brain, the veins that branch through out my body and lead into my heart. From the micro to the macro the tree repents how we are bound to all things. We are connected and related to all living things.
